The Sai Library is situated at Sai House, the national resource centre described in the Sai House section. There are over 1000 books, 200 audio cassettes, and 300 videos that can be borrowed, and we will send them anywhere within New Zealand. We have recently extended our Childrens' section, which has over 400 books.
We also have books and audio tapes and CD's for sale, and these can be ordered from anywhere around the world. We of course need to add postage, and these details can be found at the bottom of the book review below. If you wish to order online, you can select a book from the book review below, or book list. Dr. R. T. Kakade and Dr. A. Verabhadra Rao : $6.00
This is a reprint of an ever popular book. Dr. Kakade first became a devotee of Shirdi Baba, and was the recipient of many miracles. Through the Grace of Shirdi Baba, he was able to complete his post-graduate studies in England. Eventually he was given vivid proof of the identity of the two Babas, Shirdi and Parthi. It is a well written book, covering the years from 1947 to 1984.

Sai Baba and You, Practical Spirituality

This is a wonderful handbook for newcomers. It is well rooted in Baba's teachings and is, as it purports to be, an eminently practical and lucid guide to all the usual spiritual practices. The second half of the book explains to the daily routines at Prasanthi Nilayam, combined with useful advice. The quotations are also well chosen, memorable and useful.

The book contains 300 quotations. It is well presented and clearly printed - an excellent look to delve into for freeing the mind of mundane matters before retiring for the night. All the quotations are referenced and the book also contains an excellent glossary of Sanskrit terms.
Sathya Sai Speaks: priced between $7.00 and $8.00 per volume
We have the complete set of these, up to Volume 32. This last (no32) is in two parts and brings to compilation to the end of 1999. All the volumes are beautifully presented and are complete with an excellent glossary of terms.
