Sai House
The Sai House is a national resource for the Sathya Sai Service Organisation of New Zealand. It houses the national lending library and bookstore, as well as being a venue for national and Auckland regional meetings. The house, purchased in 1988, is administered by the Sathya Sai Values Education and Service Trust, and is the central administration centre for the New Zealand Organisation. Activities there include Study Groups, Education classes, Meditation classes, Youth Group meetings and general administration meetings. The physical address of Sai house is: 195 Balmoral Road, Mt Eden. You can find easy parking at the rear entrance of the house, in Dunbar Road.
Sathya Sai Publications runs the free lending Library from the Sai House. It contains over 500 books, cassette and video tapes, which can be sent anywhere in NZ. (help with cost of postage is appreciated). Books, Pictures and cassette tapes are also for sale from the bookstore and can be sent anywhere worldwide. The House is open to the public seven days a week from 10am to 2pm, during which time there is someone available on 638-8210 to answer the phone and take enquiries. Outside of these times one can leave a message on the answer phone. Alternatively, you can email Sai House directly.
An altar room is available during open hours for meditation, prayer and contemplation. The main entrance and parking is available is in Dunbar St (behind Balmoral Rd).
