The Sathya Sai Organization is a Spiritual one; it recognized the fundamental unity of all the religions of the world. It has branches in over 120 countries around the world. It is a non-political and non-profit Organization.
The main unit of the Sathya Sai Organization is the Sai Centre. Each Centre promotes spiritual, educational and community service activities.
The Organization provides a forum where spiritual aspirants learn spiritual values. It is a training ground where members practice the teachings of Baba, with special emphasis on loving service to others. The Organization seeks to purify the individual’s heart and mind and enables them to see all people and objects as reflections of God. By spiritually transforming the individual, the Organization seeks to transform the world.
“The Sai Organization is simply a gathering together of people who have a common goal in personal spiritual development. The Sai Organization should be motivated by love. You join the Organization to give, to receive, to progress, to learn, to become inspired and to serve.
The Organization provides an opportunity for men, women and children of all faiths to gather together and find the way to progress along the spiritual path and to help others on the same journey.”
The principal objectives of the Organization are:
To help individuals to become aware of the divinity that is latent in them and conduct themselves accordingly, so that they may achieve the ultimate goal of spiritual enlightenment.
To translate into practice in the individual’s daily life, Divine Love and perfection and thus to fill his life with joy, harmony, beauty, grace, human excellence and lasting happiness.
To ensure that all human relations are governed by the spiritual principles of Truth, Righteous Conduct, Peace, Love, and Non-violence.
To propagate and put into practice the Teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
These objectives can be achieved by the observance of the following principles:
“There is only one religion; the religion of Love,
There is only one language; the language of the Heart,
There is only one race; the race of Humanity,
There is only one God, and He is Omnipresent.”
